Manufacturer facts [+]

Manufacturer facts: SNR

The French company evolved from a workshop founded in 1916, which originally produced only bearings. The increase in demand in the interwar period led to the rapid growth of the company, which doubled the number of employees within a few years. Although the company was destroyed during World War II, it was rebuilt by Renault and changed its name to today's SNR. Already in the mid-1950s, the factory produced tens of thousands of bearings a day, and it also managed to sell this amount. Air transport contracts have allowed the company to develop new technologies that have had a positive effect on the quality of parts supplied to the automotive market. These bearings are used by spol. Renault in primary production. SNR products are sold in about 120 countries around the world. Thanks to the precise design and good price / performance ratio, these products are very popular among customers. In 2008, the connection was taken over by the Japanese company NTN.
