It has been producing springs for over 150 years since 1852 and thanks to this Lesjoförs still holds a technical and technological lead over the competition.

All Lesjofors coil springs are made of high quality spring steel witch have special mechanical properties. It is either first quenched in oil and then cold-formed on a computer-controlled machine or vice versa - it is first cold-formed and then quenched. In both cases, the spring has the same mechanical properties. Another technological process in the production of each Lesjofors spring is sandblasting to perfectly finish the surface for subsequent painting. This procedure extends the service life of the spring.
