It is either first quenched in oil and then cold-formed on a computer-controlled machine or vice versa - it is first cold-formed and then quenched. In both cases, the spring has the same mechanical properties. Another technological process in the production of each Lesjofors spring is sandblasting to perfectly finish the surface for subsequent painting. This procedure extends the service life of the spring.
